Why olive pits?
In olive oil production, the seeds separated from the remaining pomace are washed, dried, ground and enriched with activated carbon. The resulting granule is of vegetable origin: from clay-based sands is lightThanks to its large and heavy grains, less dust is released into the air when pouring and it dissolves in nature. The by-product of Ayvalık's olive culture turns into cat litter instead of going to waste.
Clumping and absorbency
The porous structure of the granule absorbs the urine and forms a lump that can be removed whole with a scoop in a short time. Since the liquid does not reach the bottom of the container, there is no sticking to the bottom and no pooling. Activated carbon does not suppress the smell with perfume; It absorbs odor molecules from the environment by keeping them on its surface.

Correct use
- Clean and dry container. Wash the container and dry it thoroughly, then pour in the sand.
- Correct depth: 4–6 cm. Less than 7 cm disrupts clumping, while anything above 7 cm increases scattering and does not provide savings.
- Daily scooping. Remove the lumps daily and maintain the level with fresh sand; The life of the sand is extended with this habit.
- Periodic renewal. For a single cat, change the litter completely and wash the bowl every 3-4 weeks.
Do not pour it into the toilet. Sand is biodegradable but does not completely disperse in water; It may accumulate in pipe elbows and cause clogging. Parasites in cat feces may not be completely eliminated in wastewater treatment. Place the pellets in a biodegradable bag and dispose of them in household waste.
Passing through old sand: 7-day plan
Cats do not like sudden changes in toilet routine. Proceed by mixing the new sand with the old: 1–2. day 25%, 3–4. day 50%, 5–6. day 75%, day 7 100% new sand. If your cat hesitates, return to the previous rate and wait a few days; Do not change the location or type of container during this time — one variable at a time.

Empty the litter box completely and make sure it is dry.
